The BSIA was established to provide comprehensive, one-stop support for entrepreneurs in Busan. Our mission is to actively foster entrepreneurship and venture investment, transforming Busan into a thriving hub for startups. By building a city that supports innovation and creates quality jobs, we strive to make Busan a place where people truly want to live in.
The BSIA fosters the growth of the start-up sector by providing start-up spaces, recruiting and training talent, and expanding sales channels to create a supportive environment. Additionally, we act as a funding platform for post–start-up phase companies that are generating revenue and need capital for hiring, expanding facilities, and marketing.
The BSIA strives to build a global network and a robust startup and investment ecosystem to establish Busan as a leading global startup hub.
We organize the FLY ASIA Startup Expo to establish a collaborative investment platform by fostering connections and partnerships among major startup cities in Asia, while supporting networking among key players in the startup ecosystem. The BSIA is committed to positioning Busan as a global startup and investment hub by promoting outbound initiatives. This includes supporting domestic and international IR participation to attract global partnerships and investments, assisting overseas companies entering the domestic market, facilitating global investment company workations, and hosting large-scale domestic and international meet-up events in Busan with the involvement of Ac and VC.
